India Monsooned Malabar – delicate and velvety coffee from the heart of India
India Monsooned Malabar is a coffee for those who appreciate an exceptionally mild flavor with minimal acidity. Thanks to the unique monsooning process, the beans lose their natural acidity and gain a sweet, creamy flavor profile that will easily delight your palate. It’s the perfect coffee to start your day – rich in caffeine but not overwhelming in intensity or bitterness.
The monsooning process, unique to this region, involves exposing freshly harvested beans to humid monsoon winds that mellow their flavor and give them a characteristic velvety texture. India Monsooned Malabar is 100% Arabica, grown in the Chikmagalur region at around 1100 m a.s.l., where steep mountain slopes and a specific climate create perfect conditions for high-quality beans.

Subtlety and sweetness in every cup
India Monsooned Malabar offers an exceptionally sweet and creamy flavor profile that delights with its smoothness and lack of acidity. After the first sip, you’ll taste nutty notes with a subtle aroma of tobacco and the sweetness of brown sugar. It’s a low-acidity coffee with no bitterness, making it ideal even for those just beginning their coffee journey.
Due to its gentle character and velvety texture, this coffee pairs beautifully with cream, which enhances its sweet notes. However, avoid adding milk, which may dominate and mask the subtle aromas. It can be brewed in various ways: moka pot, espresso machine, pour-over, or French press – always retaining its unique taste and aroma.
