Gdańsk Coffee

If you love Gdańsk, then Gdańsk Coffee should find its way into your basket if only out of sentiment. And what if not? Then perhaps the taste of this coffee will convince you to visit this seaside town.

How did coffee come about in Gdańsk in the first place?

Three hundred years ago, coffee bushes in Gdańsk were not surprising. In the 18th century, this city boasted one of the country's first experimental coffee plantations. It was then roasted and sold in cafes in Gdańsk. The founder of this exotic plantation was the famous botanist Jakub Teodor Klein. He created a botanical garden and greenhouse in Długi Ogrody.

What does Gdańsk Coffee taste like?

Just like the whole city. That is to say, unforgettable and noble. Actually, our Gdańsk Coffee comes from Brazil, specifically from the Cerrado region, Varjao de Minas, which is a very ecological and protected part of the country. The composition of Gdańsk Coffee consists of 100% Arabica. Gdańsk Coffee is a Yellow Bourbon variety, which has an exceptionally complex and rich flavor. You can detect the following flavor notes in it: Chocolate + Caramel + Honey + Sugarcane + Red fruits. You have to admit that it's hard to resist such an interesting and appetizing combination of flavors. Gdańsk Coffee is delicate in taste because it is characterized by low acidity. It doesn't lose intensity though. That's why it's a good choice in the morning. It adds energy, smells wonderful, and tastes great. Don't hesitate any longer. Specify the weight, grinding method, and eagerly await its delivery.

Brazil, known for its colorful festivals, heat, and friendly people, also provides wonderful specialty coffee with a mild taste and no acidity. Definitely try it if flavors of caramel, nut, and chocolate are close to your heart. Thanks to its favorable microclimate, coffee harvested in Brazil accounts for 1/3 of all coffee crops in the world! The beans grown in Cerrado are of extremely high quality and occur in large quantities. This is all thanks to the relatively flat terrain, which allows coffee fruits to be often hand-picked, ensuring a constant high quality of the harvest. Don't have a grinder? No problem, we'll take care of it. Choose the grind thickness from the dropdown list, and we'll grind it for you.
